You will find that there are many ways in which you can treat external hemorrhoids successfully. To get immediate relief from hemorrhoid irritation, one of the good natural hemorrhoid treatments (usually in the form of a cream or ointment) can reduce swelling and promote healing.

Also, medicated wipes that are applied locally, herbal treatments, and daily baths will help calm the veins and relieve the pain. While many of these medications for treating external hemorrhoids can be found online or at your local drug stores or pharmacies, it is best to confirm your diagnosis with your physician first.
